| Roland is the author of The Bostock & Bostwick Genealogies section of www.bostock.net. For those wishing to make contact his email id is Roland@Bostock.net. Educated at Amesbury School, Hindhead, Surrey and Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, and then at New College, Oxford. BA in Mathematics in 1963. Qualified as Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in London in 1966, and spent 2 years as a professional accountant with Deloittes in Zambia 1967 - 1968. He then spent the main part of his working life with IBM United Kingdom Ltd, designing systems for customers, and providing customer support and services to develop computer applications 1969 - 2013. He started genealogy as a hobby in 1958, and took it up again after separating with Eulalia in 1994. He worked with father Edward to put the Bostwick genealogy online on the internet 2000 - 2001, after which he focussed on researching and documenting Bostock genealogies, also putting the results on the internet (2002 - ongoing). |
